About Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre
The Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre, a multifunctional venue integrating exhibition, conference, business, catering and entertainment facilities, was constructed with investment from the Shenzhen Municipal Government and entrusted to Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre Management Co., Ltd. for operation. It commenced operations in 2004. Since its opening that year, the Centre has hosted approximately 100 exhibitions and over 1,800 conference events annually, with an annual exhibition area exceeding 2.8 million square metres.

The Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre occupies a prime location in the city centre, spanning an area of 220,000 square metres with a total floor area of 280,000 square metres. Measuring 540 metres in length from east to west and 282 metres in width from north to south, its highest point above ground reaches 60 metres. The structure comprises six above-ground floors and two basement levels, featuring a seamless integration of steel framework, glass domes and curtain walls. Illuminated at night, it achieves a delicate and translucent effect, earning it the epithet “Crystal Palace”.

The exhibition, conference and service functions are arranged in distinct yet closely integrated tiers. The ground floor features nine exhibition halls arranged in a U-shape, offering 105,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space capable of accommodating large-scale exhibitions with 5,000 international standard booths. The conference centre, suspended above the exhibition halls, houses 35 function rooms of varying sizes with exceptional capabilities, also serving as premium catering venues. The second-floor service area features a 480-metre-long central corridor running east-west, providing seamless access to all levels and centralised support services for all exhibition requirements.

The Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre boasts state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive amenities, making it an ideal venue for hosting exhibitions, conferences, gatherings, ceremonial events, celebrations and performing arts activities.
