Dear Exhibitors, Visitors andPartners:
In light of the numerous potential risks and adverse effects arising from the incidence of the novel coronavirus in Germany and the insufficient vaccination rate, the organisers of LogiMAT have made the following decision:
The LogiMAT trade fair, originally scheduled to take place at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre in Germany from 8 to 10 March 2022, has been postponed to 31 May to 2 June 2022. The online platform LogiMAT.digital will remain accessible until the end of June 2022.
“The current high infection rate of the coronavirus is understandably causing unease among everyone, including our exhibitors. This cannot simply be dismissed. That is precisely why we must once again respond to the prevailing situation. Our exhibitors need certainty for their planning, which is proving extremely difficult at present,” explains Michael Ruchty, Project Director of LogiMAT Germany. “As things stand today, it remains unclear whether a full physical event can be held in March, while exhibitors wish to attend in person. However, should vaccination rates remain low, potentially straining healthcare capacity to the point of necessitating stricter measures once more, this would be detrimental to all involved. We must do everything possible to ensure the event meets the reasonable expectations of both on-site exhibitors and visitors. This is precisely why many exhibitors have explicitly supported postponing the fair.”

We welcome and support the necessary decision to postpone the exhibition to a period of reduced risk, and look forward to the successful staging of LogiMAT 2022.”
Steffen Bersch, Chief Executive Officer of the SSI SCHAEFER Group, explained: “We fully support this decision. The current situation does not permit reliable planning. Reflecting on the experience of the past two years, the May date offers significantly better conditions.UniversityDr Johannes Fottner, Professor of Materials Handling, Material Flow and Physics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Chairman of the “LogiMAT Best Product” jury, added.
“We apologise for this decision, but the end-of-May date is ideal. It is gratifying that, with the support of the Stuttgart exhibition hall operator, we have been able to meet exhibitors” requirements within such a short timeframe,“ explained Peter Kazander, Managing Director of European Exhibition and Conference Company. ”Until the end of May, we will continue to bridge the gap and maintain contact with industry professionals alongside exhibitors using our state-of-the-art platform, LogiMAT.digital."
