LogiMAT China 2020 has been postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Originally scheduled for2020LogiMAT China and all concurrent events scheduled for June in Shanghai have been forced to cancel due to the ongoing global spread of the novel coronavirus. Concurrently, government announcements emphasised that the safe execution of large-scale events remains unguaranteed at present. The health and wellbeing of all participants remains the paramount concern for the organisers. Under these circumstances, the organisers were compelled to make this decision in advance to prevent exhibitors and visitors from incurring significant losses should the event ultimately be unable to proceed.

Since its inaugural launch in China in 2014, LogiMAT China has flourished with strong support from all sectors of society, evolving into a high-calibre international exchange platform. In 2019, the event relocated to Shanghai, commencing its co-location with the Asian Logistics Biennial organised by the Munich Trade Fair Group. The previous edition in April 2019 attracted over 25,000 visitors.

“Based on current announcements from government departments, insisting on holding this year's exhibition would offer no benefit whatsoever to our exhibitors, partners, or professional buyers,” explained Chen Ming, China Project Director for LogiMAT at Nanjing Stuttgart Joint Exhibition Company. “We believe postponing until next year represents the most reasonable approach for all concerned.”

“We have taken this difficult decision because we recognise the considerable time and effort exhibitors and attendees have invested in planning their participation,” said Mr Peter Kazander, Managing Director of European Exhibitions and Conferences. “Exhibitors are currently navigating these challenging times alongside us, and we hope that sharing this information promptly will assist all participants in rescheduling their plans more effectively.”

The next LogiMAT China will take place in Shanghai from 16 to 18 June 2021. We look forward to welcoming our exhibitors either at LogiMAT 2021 in Stuttgart next March or in Shanghai in June 2021.PartnersReuniting with the audience.
