Dr Johannes Fottner will once again deliver an engaging presentation at LogiMAT China 2019.

Johannes Fottner's research work centres on several key topics related to logistics technology, particularly new technologies that can enhance logistics processes.Solutionsand systems, including material process control and optimisation technologies utilising innovative identification technology (RFID), logistics planning and development based on digital tools, and logisticsIndustryHis role. He is particularly focused on the practical application of scientific knowledge, especially within small and medium-sized enterprises, while simultaneously leading the work of the Logistics Innovation Centre and the RFID Application Centre at the Technical University of Munich.

Professor Dr Johannes Fottner studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, where he also obtained his doctorate, specialising in material handling, distribution and logistics. From 2002 to 2008, he held several management positions in Switzerland. In 2008, he assumed the role of President of the Miass Group, concurrently serving as National Vice-Chairman of the Society for Production and Logistics within the German Engineering Association (VDA) and Chairman of its Bavarian branch. He also heads the German-Chinese Business Association for Southern Bavaria.
