Caterpillar Caterpillar will showcase four electric motor prototypes at Bauma 2022, taking place in Munich, Germany from 24 to 30 October. These include:BatteryPrototype.

Battery motor prototype includes the 301.9 compact model.excavator320 medium excavator 950 GC medium wheel loaderLoaderThe 906 compact wheel loader. These machines are powered by Caterpillar battery prototypes and include an onboard ACchargerThe company also plans to offer non-vehicle-based solutions.DC fast chargingOptions.

The batteries designed by Caterpillar for these machines can also be used to power other industrial applications.lithium-ion batteryThe series is based on Caterpillar technology and features a modular design, enabling flexible configurations across multiple applications. Cat stated in a release that these batteries have been meticulously engineered to adapt toIndustryScaling to meet customer performance requirements and maximising throughout the entire lifecycle.Sustainabilityincluding recycling and reuse at the end of its service life.
