Komatsu has prepared the prototype of an electric wheel loader.

Komatsu stated that the prototype's intelligent machine electrification system is designed to achieve interconnectivity and automation. The system incorporates the sensing and control capabilities required for automation, whilst its integrated software framework features built-in tools to coordinate multiple motion axes and precisely regulate torque, speed, position and force.
